We have been thinking about the earth & sky over the past weeks. Initially looking at landscape creating pictures with paint & mixed media. Then looking carefully at the shapes of seed heads we made monoprints which the group continued to explore with printmaker Nicki Dennett.
We then looked at Aboriginal paintings with their strong connection to earth & nature, we experimented with some of these techniques & colours.
This week with the warmer weather we have turned to butterflies sketching their shapes & using watercolours for the first time. We had a go at making 3D butterflies too!
