It has been wonderful getting to know everyone at Cantley Close & we now have a fully formed group who are returning each week to enjoy drawing & painting. Initially most people were a little apprehensive but I think they’re now surprising themselves with their creations.
The first week participants were given a sketchbook to work in & encouraged to use it between art sessions too. Themes have been; colour, sky, landscape & blossom. I bring in a couple of my paintings each week to share some of my techniques & ideas. We have worked with pencil, charcoal, pastels & acrylics so far, I am super happy how everyone has embraced the activities.
